The ID hive is always buzzing with innovative designers, wicked smart producers, and colorful copywriters, all of whom have a deep knowledge and passion for BU culture. Of course, to bring all their ideas to life, those creative folks need equally creative front-end developers who are just as passionate about and committed to innovative interactive communication. In this case, were looking for a developer with three to five years of experience to build and develop the front end (HTML and CSS) of our managed WordPress websites. What you'll do: Have fun! Build & develop the front-end of websites for BUs managed WordPress environment using HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Collaborate with designers and developers to bring basic interactions to life using jQuery and CSS animations. Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers and others in order to achieve project goals on schedule. Plan & write semantic, accessible markup for layout and custom functionality. Plan & write mobile-first CSS and Sass following established coding standards and best practices. Test & debug display issues across various devices and browsers. Maintain an ongoing understanding of current and emerging tools and technology in front-end development.
