And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying priority target accounts and contacts and strategizing objectives and tactics to nurture leads through a complicated sales cycle and ultimately to a closed deal. This individual will work to align marketing activity with specific account strategies and priorities while inspiring customers with compelling, personalized content intended to boost sales productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of cutting - edge digital marketing technology and the ability to integrate, understand and analyze data to get the best value out of marketing strategies. This role will work closely with the sales team to ensure Optum and its offerings are continually top of mind among targeted accounts and contacts through various communication vehicles, both online and offline. Finally, this person will be responsible for creating a regular reporting cadence demonstrating engagement and value of marketing activities. Primary Responsibilities:Intelligence - Establish digital profiles of the target account and contacts within it to identify relevant propositions and communication preferences, hot topics, and pressing business challenges Strategy - Assume ownership and execution for marketing to targeted accounts and contacts Awareness - Utilize all vehicles available to ensure regular communication that create a more favorable perception of the Optum brand and its business solutions Content - Work with digital marketing colleagues to research, design and execute personalized content intended to engage and enlighten target contacts while enabling sales execution Collaboration - Partner with internal colleagues, such as sales, digital production teams, compliance, etc., to orchestrate highly - personalized and professional account - based marketing programs Campaigning - In large target accounts, lead generation campaigns will be leveraged to uncover opportunities and appoint meetings. This can also be combined with a digital marketing campaign targeted to the chosen companies Sales - Marketing has a role to play in supporting sales bids to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle Advocacy - The sales cycle is complete when customers become advocates and are leveraged to drive further incremental business Reporting - Consume, interpret and present data to key stakeholders to measure the success of our account - based strategy
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree 4+ years of B2B marketing experience Modern marketer focused on driving engagement and accelerating existing sales opportunities within our target accounts Creative project manager experienced with coordinating multiple marketing disciplines (content, events, etc.) to project professional, highly personalized campaigns targeted to specific accounts and sets of accounts Data - driven individual able to consume, interpret and present data to key stakeholders to gauge the effectiveness and success of our account - based campaigns Experience marketing to enterprise B2B companies Strong organizational and communication skills and excellent relationship building skills across technology and marketing organizations Familiar with software platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce and / or MarketoCareers with Optum.
