Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Recruitment, the Digital Marketing Coordinator assists in developing and implementing an online presence for Bush School admissions, particularly residential programs, but to include some online program promotions. This includes developing strategies to meet enrollment goals by planning digital marketing campaigns, coordinating residential and online social media presences, and assessing digital advertising efforts.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) years of digital marketing experience.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and computer skills.
Must be aware of current digital marketing trends to create content marketing. Proven ability to work in a team context and to set priorities, manage competing demands, and to provide timely reports.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree or higher in marketing, communications, or related field.
More than three (3) years of relevant professional digital marketing experience. Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in using technology in marketing activities, including social media and internet applications and report generation.
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adword campaigns and landing pages.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology (like Salesforce or Slate).
Experience in a data-driven, analytical, decision-making environment.
Assists the Director of Admissions and Recruitment with a number of recruitment and marketing efforts to effectively promote the residential programs and strategically communicate with prospects through the admissions process. The position also works closely with our Communications team for social media, website, and ad creations and the Office of Extended Education for content creation, online promotion, and CRM support.
Devises digital marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate prospects; to include web, social media, and display advertising (like Google Adwords).
Collaborates with internal teams to create HTML landing pages and optimize the user experience.
Coordinates fresh content for web each week, to include blogs or original informative stories offering unique views of the programs.
Ensures that electronic media is current and relevant; this includes our website and marketing and professional sites.
Measures and reports on the performance of digital marketing campaigns; assesses against goals (ROI; KPIs).
Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on those insights.
Maintains our GBS Admissions social media presence across all digital channels; works with Communications to maximize events and stories.
Evaluates emerging technologies. Provides thoughts for adoption where appropriate.
Utilizes our Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to assist in answering inquiries and devising communications.
Assists with devising multiple communication campaigns for different groups and timelines in our CRM.
Utilizes our current email system (Emma Email) to create and disseminate HTML email campaigns tied to our CRM.
Runs A/B and multivariate tests to test email content and title effectiveness.
Assists in creating digital presentations and light graphic design for print media as needed.
Collaborates with the Director of Admissions and Recruitment to prepare a comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan to reach enrollment goals.
Develops relationships with faculty and administration to participate in the recruitment plan and provide statistical support when asked.
Analyzes data after running audits on student data; gauges recruitment effectiveness.
Participates in GBS projects that need unique marketing promotion.
Assists with special event planning, marketing, and/or staffing as part of the Admissions and Recruitment team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
