In this role, the successful candidate Associate Director, Marketing - Digital Signage reports to Director of Digital Marketing Support NYU Langones communication objectives by directing, planning, strategizing, writing, and editing content principally for our ecosystem of digital signage throughout NYU Langone facilities. Create an on-site presence and experience that reflects NYU Langones vision of being a world-class integrated patient-centered academic medical center. Collaborate and strategize with the marketing, creative services, media, and departmental staff throughout NYU Langone to oversee and evolve digital signage content and on-site messaging experience. Job Responsibilities: - Serve as editor-in-chief of NYU Langones ecosystem of digital signage.
- Develop an editorial strategy and associated content that is audience-specific, depending upon the facility and signage location (patients, researchers, students, donors, etc.) and ensure that it is produced accurately through the digital signage platform.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a content development and dissemination plan as well as an editorial calendar to ensure content is properly organized, managed, and pulsed out at the appropriate time, for an optimal experience.
- Oversee a digital signage copywriter, ensuring that accurate, effective digital communications are produced and displayed.
- Gather key business and user insights, and apply strategic planning skills to create a long-term vision for the content thats generated.
- Conduct content audits as necessary as well as gap analyses for digital signage content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Office of Science and Research, School of Medicine stakeholders, Communications colleagues in media, marketing and digital, Real Estate Development and Facilities, MCIT) on strategic content creation and deployment.
- Establish relationships with NYU Langone staff and leadership to ensure smooth implementation and day-to-day partnership.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Requirements: Digital writing/editing and experience, experience with digital signage strongly preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Sciences required. At least 5-8 years experience at a healthcare organization, scientific research organization, academic institution, or digital agency required. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
