We are conducting a national search for a Chief Marketing Officer, a senior-level marketing professional who will be responsible for developing and implementing CA’s marketing and communications strategy for both our organization and our individual programs and services to our members and the community.
As CA’s ‘chief storyteller,’ this position is responsible for the continuous development of our unique and compelling voice and brand. And as our ‘chief listener,’ this position is responsible for 1) establishing strong two-way communications between the organization and its members, stakeholders and constituents; and 2) ensuring that the CA brand is communicated creatively and inclusive of the CA value proposition.
The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated a strong background in strategy development, analytics capacity building and reporting, change management, problem solving, leadership and mentoring, digital marketing, social media, website management and improvement, and budget management.
The individual will have a proven entrepreneurial mindset and will have demonstrated a willingness, passion and ability to effectively produce innovations and business outcomes. The individual must possess a passion for continuous improvement, be data-driven, collaborative, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, and be experienced in team and community building.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a subject or field applicable to the position’s requirements, producing a breadth of cross-functional knowledge and depth in strategy development and data analytics; at least 10 years of marketing experience in a membership-based, community-oriented, or services-based organization; and experience in positions of increasing responsibility, including leadership roles overseeing staff and budgets. The Chief Marketing Officer will report to the President/CEO and be a member of the organization’s senior leadership team.
