Oversees the Creative Services division of the Strategic Marketing and Communications Department. Manages the workflow of incoming project requests and assigns to team of graphic and production artists to meet deadlines. Collaborates with system Marketing Directors to determine deadlines and production schedules. Manages vendor relationships with printers, mail houses, premium vendors. Insures organizational graphic standards are followed. Ideal candidate will thrive in in a high volume and high performance organization. Must have solid knowledge of printing processes, keen attention to detail and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required. Lead RWJBarnabas Health's Creative Services team while interfacing with Strategic Marketing and Communications department internal stakeholders, to understand production requirements. Analyze specifications to ensure that all job requirements, quality expectations, and delivery dates are clearly identified and achieved. Manage internal and external resources to manage work flow and assign projects to effectively and efficiently create, coordinate, and maintain production schedules. Create and maintain schedules for all projects from inception thru in-home, including execution of workflow changes as applicable. Work with the internal stakeholders to identify and create collateral projects that maintain graphic standards and meet organization needs. Manage all aspects of print production with suppliers, including printers, mail houses, etc. Provide specific instructions for all projects. Work with suppliers on delivery timetables and maintain a current status of assigned projects at all times. Assist in updating forecasts and budgets to reflect actual specifications and costs incurred on a monthly or more frequent basis.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, production, communication, business or comparable work experience.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and multitasking skills.
Must have a solid and demonstrated knowledge of the printing process.
Experience with Project Management tool/system desired.
