Under general supervision from the College Business Officer, direct planning, developing, and implementing publications, marketing campaigns, promotional campaigns, communications, market research and public relations services for CECH.
Develop and implement marketing product strategy, targeting, branding, creative services, print and online/digital advertising, publication distribution, e-marketing, media planning, public relations, quality assurance, and on-time deliverables for all CECH programs (product lines).
Collaborate with internal constituents to develop and implement a branding strategy based on student and market research that incorporates the overall University and CECH visions, missions, goals and strategic plans.
Plan and implement program-specific strategic and multi-channeled marketing and communication plans for 40+ programs, and various centers and partnerships.
Develop a marketing strategy that addresses the student life cycle.
Work closely with the Associate Director of Student Recruitment to create a system and process for gathering and analyzing data in order to generate qualified leads, and determine ROI on all efforts.
Maintain and continually improve the SEO of the College website to increase traffic and quality recruitment leads.
Be financially accountable for the management and investment of a significant budget for a marketing program with the goal of optimizing return on marketing investment.
Serve as liaison for various vendors and contract operations.
Develop and administer appropriate policies and procedures.
Serve as a member on University-wide, community and industry committees and/or meetings, including University Communicators and University Public Relations.
Provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Bachelor's degree with seven (7) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with nine (9) years experience; -OR eleven (11) years experience.
Degree and experience must be in business administration, marketing or a related field.
Experience must include at least three (3) years supervision.
Ability to manage, motivate, and teach staff and vendors to deliver high quality executions of campaign elements on multiple concurrent projects. Strong strategic thinking and creative skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office. Very strong Excel skills with experience using its analytical and data tools. Experience working with a CRM. Experience with web content management systems. Experience with digital campaigns and developing the analytics and tools to improve them in an iterative fashion.
Ability to lead, direct, and manage, but willingness and skillset capable of performing hands-on tasks as needed.
Experience with budget and financial processes and structures.
Understanding of the administrative functions, academic programs, and requirements of a university.
