COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR , Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL) , to provide communication, marketing, and promotions support for CTL, working closely with the Supply Chain Management, MicroMasters, and Supply Chain Exchange programs and the director and researchers of CTL. Responsibilities include writing, editing, and developing creative and original content; serving as technical expert developing and implementing print and digital communications and marketing content; identifying and promoting researchers' publications/projects/events; developing and implementing a comprehensive media relations strategy; advising on social media marketing campaigns; monitoring CTL's websites to elevate the audience experience; creating attractive brochures, fliers, posters, and booklets; designing, targeting, executing, and evaluating the effectiveness of email campaigns; managing video production (e.g., designing shoots, filming, film editing, distribution); measuring and reporting on the effectiveness/performance of marketing/communications campaigns; and managing copyright requirements.
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; at least three years' experience in marketing analysis and marketing technical operations; high-level proficiency using internet, social media, electronic publishing, website creation, and data analysis technology tools; high-level proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), communication tools (WebEx, Constant Contact, MailChimp), and web content management and analytic tools (Drupal 8, Google Analytics, HTML); comfort using and creating content for social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, WordPress); experience on social media with paid search (Google, Facebook, and Linked-In ads); experience tailoring content to maximize search engine optimization; strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and juggle multiple requests simultaneously; excellent interpersonal skills; ability work with a wide range of people at all levels and to represent CTL to external journalists/media; and excellent writing and proofreading skills.
