Unit Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator - Macomb County Outreach

Job Description Summary:
The purpose of the position is to manage and coordinate marketing and communication initiatives in support of enrollment for OU's Macomb County locations. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating all unit marketing and communication projects, writing, editing content for recruitment and enrollment of adult students. Write and coordinate departmental student and faculty newsletters. Develop and manage a departmental marketing and communication calendar. Plan and coordinate academic program and student recruitment events. Monitor enrollment, recommend and implement strategies to increase enrollment. Serve as liaison to appropriate on-campus departments to assist with the enrollment process. Manage inventory of print and promotional materials and track marketing expenses.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communication or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum three years' experience working with higher education student recruitment and marketing. A minimum of two years' experience working with professional designers to create impactful and effective marketing collateral. Demonstrated ability to set goals, manage and assess projects and meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others. Excellent organization, multi-tasking and analytical skills. May include some evenings and occasional weekends as needed for special events.
Master's Degree or some post baccalaureate work. Previous experience working in higher education recruitment, marketing, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. Experience recruiting or marketing to adult students and knowledge of Macomb County a plus.
