This part-time position would support the school’s admissions office with strategic, innovative and creative communications and marketing.
Sacred Heart Strategic Marketing Part-time Position, October 2018 - May 2019
The Strategic Part-time Marketing Position is a seasonal position working in the Admissions Office October 1, 2018 – May 24, 2019 Hours: 9:00 am-4:00 pm (hours can be flexible), Tuesday – Thursday, with scattered evenings as needed
Reports directly to the Director of Admissions and will work under the guidance of the Admissions Office Coordinator. Occasionally work with the Director of Communications and Website Manager
The primary objective is to help create a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan that communicates the value of a Sacred Heart education and raises our digital profile
Primary responsibilities consist of managing the digital presence of the Admissions Office, including editorial and visual content for the school’s website, Admissions web pages, and the Admissions Instagram
Review all admissions communications and events to ensure brand consistency
Attend classes and community events in order to gather stories and maintain a finger on the pulse of the community
Capture and coordinate photographs and video in support of content creation for digital and print media
Work on short and long-term website specific projects to enhance user experience
Create log of photographs: what already exists and what is needed for website and admissions brochures
Obtain information from faculty and administration to ensure that web content is up-to-date
Track and report on analytics
Be self-directed and an independent worker
Show initiative and be organized, flexible, creative and detail-oriented
Have a strong work ethic, excellent writing skills, good interpersonal skills, technical skills, and a sense of humor
Be forward-thinking in order to anticipate the needs from a consumer perspective
