The Marketing and Development Coordinator, under general supervision, assists with the execution of marketing and fundraising programs that enable programs, services, events and/or products to meet business objectives. Develops and implements marketing and promotions programs. Works to develop the execution of marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand image. Will help with membership and financial tracking, as well as with identifying new members in the community and beyond.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of related experience in marketing, communications, or other related field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Proficiency in multi-channel marketing.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s Degree in Marketing.
Three plus yearsâ™ experience in marketing program coordination, fundraising, and business operations.
Experience in brand development to include creating marketing briefs and reporting.
Brand coordination experience to include the creation of marketing plans and strategy.
Plans and implements marketing program events such as conferences, marketing activities, brand experiences, meetings, and workshops. Executes campaigns through various media channels to promote services, facilities, and conferences to outside stakeholders.
Develops and updates communication briefs and marketing plans based on project specifics and provides program recaps and summaries with program statistics and data at the conclusion of activation.
Assists the marketing and development manager with fundraising efforts on a regular basis. Assists in identifying funding opportunities and working with partners for collaboration of events.
Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for marketing programs and brand engagement events.
Maintains program records and databases. Conducts competitive bench-marking and analysis of campaigns, programs to inform decisions on strategic marketing, product segmentation, and customer targeting.Performs other duties as assigned.
