The CECH Office of Marketing is seeking a Marketing and Publications Coordinator to assist in the development/ implementation of marketing plans, advertisements, special projects, website management, social media management, and oversee graphic design inquiries. Ideally, this person will have some graphic design capabilities but it is not required.
Create highly-compelling visual assets for social platforms that maximize engagement with followers and communicate/amplify the organization's priority messages.
Responsible for supporting, creating, developing and executing various marketing projects related to corporate branding, marketing collateral, email, web, and social media.
Assist in developing marketing plans that will increase program awareness and enrollment of various programs within the college.
Manage the college website by creating relevant and captivating content that is good for SEO in addition to making sure the website is accessible.
Make sure that all content published on the website meets required accessibility standards.
Liaison with printers, suppliers, etc. for assigned projects; write all specifications for printing, supplies, bids, etc.
Generate, proof read and edit finished product and ensure that all design work follows university branding standards.
Consult with clients on requested projects; make recommendations and decisions related to design, ideas, approach, costs, technical specifications, etc.
Understand how to generate and analyze market data for different student populations to support marketing strategies and program growth.
Bachelor's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience.
Degree must be in Communications, Education, Graphic Arts, Liberal Arts, Marketing or a related field.
Experience must be in development and implementation of marketing and advertising plans.
Utilize knowledge of current graphic design software to produce visual material.
Maintain design standards for all material produced; stay abreast of technological advances in the field; recommend alternate approaches to design and production for cost-effective printed materials; maintain records and files.
Some experience using Adobe Creative Suites software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Have the ability to create a graphic design request such as a flyer, brochure, poster, or marketing graphics using the Adobe Creative Suites software.
