Provide support for Culinary Services Marketing department to help increase efficiency and productivity by monitoring projects, schedules, and participating in stakeholder meetings to ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. This person will work closely with the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications to serve all units within the department.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in planning, producing, and editing marketing materials.
Maintains and monitors projects and project schedules.
Participates in stakeholder meetings.
Coordinates action items from stakeholders and follows up to ensure timeliness.
Analyzes data to better understand consumer trends.
Assists with strategy and planning of future marketing of Culinary units.
Executes digital ad campaigns.
Brings innovative ideas forward to promote and achieve department goals.
Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensures project deadlines are met.
Undertakes project tasks as required.
Creates a project management calendar for fulfilling each.
This is a 2-year end-dated position.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical, vocational or business school such as an associate's degree in business with coursework appropriate to the employing unit; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in sales and marketing strategies related to the employing unit; booking meetings, events and/or similar unit functions; and department operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competency in Microsoft applications as well as Adobe Creative applications including Illustrator and InDesign
Strong research, math, and computer skills.
Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze processes and data.
Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., occasional evenings and weekends.

This is an off-dated position funded for two years from date of hire with possible extension contingent upon funding renewal.
