Job Summary: Full-time management position to maximize the value for the property with responsibilities for overseeing the day-to-day marketing, events, community relations, tenant relations, promotional agreements, budgeting and expense control. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares and administers annual marketing budget and annual plan and monthly marketing reports.
Maintains a responsive open-line of communication with the tenants.
Creates effective social media / advertising, couponing and recognition for all stores in the mall with special emphasis on new stores, benchmark tenants and "At Risk" tenants.
Creates measurable marketing programs, sales promotions and promotional events that generate traffic, build sales and social media awareness.
Encourages store managers, district managers, regional managers and corporate offices to maximize participation in marketing opportunities.
Reviews and analyzes monthly tenant sales reports.
Proactively seeks a positive image within the community i.e. active involvement in schools, civic or charitable organizations and within the surrounding business community.
Assists in handling tenant issues and communicates regularly with all mall tenants.
Assists in handling customer complaints.
Available to work a variety of hours (weekends, before or after 5 PM) as needed to effectively implement marketing programs and/or manage related responsibilities.
Oversee, update and maintain center website and social media avenues.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Use independent judgment and discretion with matters relating to the preparation, coordination, production, supervision and follow-up of mall promotions and events
Prepare and administer all event license agreements, permits, and COI compliance
Use independent judgment and discretion to secure retailer participation for marketing opportunities and events (sampling, demos, offers, displays, etc.)
Analyze, interpret and draw conclusions after events and sales promotions to establish results and metrics for future events
Plans, implements and on-site point of contact and coordinator for Santa and Easter Photo operations including revenue forecasting, photo trends, analysis, reporting and recommendations for next year activation
Develop sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
Manage the customer traffic count system and analyze results on a daily basis and provide monthly results for management reports.
Education and/or Experience Five or more years' marketing experience within the shopping center industry.
Knowledge/Skills Must be proficient on basic Microsoft Office platform and Internet; must be skilled with most PC (word processing and spreadsheet) applications; PlaceWise a plus.
