Marketing/ Market Development roles may be responsible for the development and management of content that spans Business Units and other divisions across the company to generate awareness and demand for relevant Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions. Teams will lead the strategy, planning, management, deployment and promotion of unique and compelling customer-centric content marketing campaigns that drive new customer acquisition, deepen engagement, motivate customers to take action and demonstrate channel ROI.
Creativity and extremely strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in creative, journalistic and/or technical writing and understanding of how to communicate complex ideas in a simple yet effective manner to drive customers through the buying journey to conversion, driving revenue growth are keys. Project lead and liaison to internal and external partners and vendors, may also be involved including maintaining excellent professional relationships, in order to facilitate the conversion of business objectives into effective content marketing programs leading to revenue, improved customer intimacy, and growth in a dynamic environment.
We look for results abilities, working with intensity, diverse marketing skill set, potentially with a digital marketing focus, and ability to communicate and drive diverse customer audiences from peers to executives. These can be high visibility positions.
Scientific education can be needed, with background in relevant fields of cell, as these can aid in gathering feedback/ insights from customers, internal stakeholders and 3rd party data sources, to identify new scientific emerging applications or workflow opportunities, or in discussing the core applications with our scientists and customers then using this information to develop a content strategy for that application or area of research.
