The Role Responsibilities Strategy This role is responsible for defining and delivering the marketing strategy for Corporate segment clients within Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking, a business that is driven at global and regional level. The successful candidate will drive development of the marketing strategy and supporting plan for Corporates, based on deep customer insights, in order to increase visibility, awareness and commercial impact for CCIB. The global strategy, borne from a deep understanding of the business and market dynamics as well a client needs and opportunity at a global level and across our network, should help inform the way in which we market to clients in a consistent way. Business You will own and drive end-to-end segment activity plans led by business segmentation and prioritisation and in close collaboration with Product Marketing, Marketing Services as well as the regional Marketing teams. You will drive business impact by understanding account plans, and commercial opportunities and effectively position the Bank, our services and capabilities to the clients we serve, and the clients we aspire to bank, optimising marketing plans to support the business in achieving their goals and aspirations. We are looking for a senior marketer with a deep understanding of b2b marketing and the way in which MNC's and global Institutions operate, their influencers, their decision makers and personas, their banking requirements and needs. You will have a proven ability to drill into client segmentation, client mapping, and client behaviours and translate these insights into meaningful and impactful marketing strategies and programs, driven by effective client targeting, measured through agreed client outcomes and success metrics. You will be responsible for marketing budget/spend related to Corporate segment marketing activities, establishing metrics to evaluate ROI against CCIB Business and Marketing scorecards. Processes - Build relationships and networks across the business and liaise with key business stakeholders on a regular basis to understand their specific needs, the clients they serve, and the opportunities that exist.
- Develop transformational marketing strategies that puts client data, analytics and insights at the centre, with clear articulation of how marketing is supporting specific business outcomes.
- Drive implementation of plans with clearly defined commercial returns with metrics and tracking that support these opportunities, leading periodic reviews and updates with senior business stakeholders.
- Drive impactful engagement between Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing central teams and the regional teams, ensuring regional plans roll up to support the overall global business goals for CCIB
- Develop measurement frameworks, metrics and KPIs that ensure marketing strategies are effective and impactful and that we're garnering increased insight around the ways that clients interact with us and the business and relationship impact.
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing programs as market conditions evolve. Led by creative, innovative ideas and a desire to think outside the box.

Experience: - Degree educated or equivalent preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- >10 years senior level experience in B2B marketing and communications
- Depth of experience of marketing to Corporate & Institutional Banking clients
- Experience in digital marketing
- Experience in financial services B2B preferred, and exposure to Corporate/Institutional Banking and related products a plus
