Description About this role Overview: The Vice President of Marketing for Mexico is responsible for helping build and lead the overall strategic marketing strategy to help drive brand awareness, deeper client engagement and profitable growth in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of implementing innovative marketing initiatives, proven success in the development and execution of targeted business objectives, financial/commercial retail product knowledge and expertise, digital content writing experience, and management of high-level events and guiding projects through all stages of a multi-channeled marketing campaigns from initial development to execution to metrics/ROI analysis. This is a highly collaborative, communicative role that must also manage internal stakeholders to help develop content and initiatives to drive business priorities, as well as comfortable delivering strategy, innovative ideas/solutions and messaging to both the MKTG team and executive audiences. Success in this role requires an understanding of both financial advisors and end-client segment needs/trends, and the knowledge and ability to connect the two in a way that resonates with the end-user to drive adoption on digital platforms and products. This role reports into the Director of Marketing in Mexico. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Marketing: Co-lead and execute the overall marketing strategy for BlackRock, including both BLK/iShares product strategy and content development, project management and new campaign outreach initiatives to help drive and achieve both brand awareness and MX business priorities. Collaborate with both global and IMT teams to build impactful, short and long terms marketing plans for priority products/solutions launches. Ensure all Citibanamex initiatives are aligned with business priorities, messaging, and the overall BLK Mexico marketing goals.
- Digital Campaigns: Manage and drive the internal digital platform for Citibanamex financial advisors, including create and deliver customized priority product content, targeted product communications and a long-term content driven virtual experience. Develop and deliver client product training guides, collateral and sessions to drive adoption and continued engagement. Analyze product campaign & adoption data to understand which product marketing tactics are driving the best adoption to optimize product marketing playbook
- Project Management: Demonstrate and execute strong project management skills which include responsibility for budgeting and forecasting, expense reporting, risk management, status reporting, and execution. This includes accounting for complete project lifecycle from inception to closure, collaborating with participants to determine project timeline, map projects for budget tracking, and ensuring set deadlines.
- Content and media planning: Develop and own external-facing product/solution marketing strategy, collateral & content (digital, video, one-pagers, user stories, positioning statements). Deeply understand digital products/platforms and translate that knowledge into impactful and scalable communications and collateral for client-facing teams.
- Measurement and analytics: Help define KPIs for all Digital Hub product pages/collateral/digital events, and drive accountability across the market. Maintain close partnership with IMT and sales to ensure integration and product commercial growth in Mexico.
Desired Qualifications: - Fluency in English and Spanish is required
- 8+ years in a product marketing role
- Pro-active, self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects across multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Strategic visionary with demonstrated experience in creating omni-channel marketing strategies and bringing them to execution
- Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
- Experience working and scaling initiatives across a family of brands, variety of audiences and countries
- Experience working with global sales/product teams
- Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to work well cross-functionally
- Outstanding teammate with proven ability to lead through influence
- Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
- Industry knowledge of Financial Services/Asset Management vertical preferred
