Temporary Job Description:
The Admissions and Marketing Coordinator of the Master of Science in Communication Program is responsible for managing day-to-day activities and systems of recruiting, admissions, and marketing plans in a high touch recruiting environment. Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment, the Admissions and Marketing Coordinator facilitates key aspects of the graduate admissions process.
Manage general program email inbox
Manage admission CRM (Slate) moving applicants through multiple stages of the admissions process
Enters and advances incoming students into the university enterprise system (SES)
Help prepare and administer program webinars
Schedule admissions interviews
Secures and distributes NetID information
Assists with clearing incoming students for registration
Assist with updating and maintaining program website
Serves as a resource to help incoming students navigate university resources such as financial aid, student health services, international office, housing, etc.
Advanced knowledge of word processing, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience updating/maintaining websites
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships internally and externally
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Diligent and can work independently and able to problem solve
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
