Are you an experienced Digital Marketer that is passionate and has a desire to shape the future of the new Digital Marketing program? Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State), Moorhead campus, is accepting applications for temporary part-time Digital Marketing Instructors to begin fall semester 2021. M State is seeking student-centered instructor(s) who are highly engaging and motivated to create meaningful and dynamic learning experiences in an online learning environment. Courses to be taught include: Digital Marketing UX Design and Search Engine Marketing. The ideal candidate will use a variety of digital technologies to create and deliver curriculum in an active online learning environment to a diverse student population.
Activities related to comprehensive community college teaching and learning, including but not limited to:
Instructional planning and delivery in an engaging online learning environment using Brightspace/D2L LMS
Teaching and facilitating student learning with digital technologies
Curriculum planning and development by applying industry knowledge and experience to your work
Assessment of student performance at the course and program level
Maintenance of professional skills and credentials;
Participation in department and college-wide meetings
Master's degree in marketing or business administration, business management, business education with 9 semester graduate credits in marketing. Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in marketing.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Advanced Digital Marketing Certifications
Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college;
Experience with learning communities or curriculum development.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
Background in Marketing Strategy, Brand Building, Customer Experience, Campaign Development, Customer Acquisition, Conversion Funnels, Marketing Metrics, and Design Thinking
Knowledge and experience in Web Analytics, UX/UI Design, SEO and PPC
Demonstrated ability to create content across digital channels for both B2B and B2C markets.
Demonstrated Email and Mobile Marketing experience.
